Relevant

In Genesis 26:1-17 we see a famine in the land as in Genesis 12 with Abraham. Like Abraham, Issac heads toward Egypt, but God stops him and tells him to dwell in Gerar. We see Issac play out the same roll as Abraham, only worse. Sarah was Abraham's half sister but Rebekah is not a sister at all to Issac, a complete lie! God will also intervene here and cause the king to protect Issac and Rebekah. Even though we fail, God is faithful to bring us into the place we need to be, as we will see with Issac and Rebekah.
